The largest of SEADAC's programs provides outpatient treatment for adults. Services are provided at SEADAC’s headquarters: 8640 S. South Chicago Avenue in Chicago.

Treatment includes the following: Outreach, Consultation, Intake, Assessment, Outpatient Counseling (Individual, Group, and Family), Antabuse and Naltrexone Therapy, Recreational Activities, Alcoholics Anonymous, AI-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, After Care, and Follow-up. As part of the Adult Program, SEADAC provides a Driving Under the Influence (DUI)-Risk Education Program. Three Alcoholics Anonymous, one AI-Anon, and two Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week are held in SEADAC’s facility. SEADAC's FY 2002 projection of serving 3,300 people resulted in 3,353 clients actually having been treated.

In FY96 SEADAC added to Adult Outpatient Treatment an Intensive Outpatient Program. This program started in September 1995 after being licensed August 15, 1995. Between July 1, 2001 and June 30, 2002, 239 clients were treated in this program. Clients must attend group treatment 3 hours per day, 5 days per week for 5 weeks.

Another service added was an HIV Testing, Pre - test and Post -test Counseling Program. Counselors at SEADAC provided pre-test and post-test counseling. The testing method used is the OraSure method. This involves swabbing the inside of the mouth with a cotton Q-Tip, which is mailed to The Illinois Department of Public Health for testing. This process has led to an increased number of tests over the old method of drawing blood.

In 2001 a new Mentally Ill Substance Abusers (MISA) program was added to the Adult Program. This is a program that treats people who are mentally ill, as well as substance abusers. This group of people creates a significant drain on State mental health services. The purpose of this program is to help people address their mental health and substance abuse issues at the same time in order to prevent further State hospitalization.

In FY2005, the Adult Outpatient program served 2253 clients.

Three Alcoholics Anonymous [AA] and two Narcotics Anonymous [NA] meetings per week are held at the premise.
